Carer-led Learning

I run small, intimate classes with toddlers (1-3 years) and carers, where we learn through play. We focus on developing fine and gross motor skills through fun activities. We sing, dance, paint, play and learn the session away.

Foundation Phase Teaching

Teaching is my absolute passion. Get in touch if you require substitution teaching contracts.

Education Consultant

Are you a principle looking for ways to inspire and upskill your teachers and student teachers?
I run various programmes and sessions on a consultancy basis.

Coaching / Mentoring

Are you an individual in education looking for a mentorship programme?
From admin to personal interaction skills, I provide coaching and mentorship sessions.

Remedial Classes

With further qualifications to assist children with barriers to learning, I run various remedial classes in groups or for individuals – remotely or in-person.

Extra Lessons

Are you a parent wanting to assist your child with extra learning?
I provide extra lessons (Virtual or in-person) for all foundation phase syllabi.

One-on-one Teaching

We are living in unprecedented times and our teaching channels need to adapt accordingly.
I offer virtual teaching and well as one-on-one teaching for small groups or individuals in the Johannesburg area.

I am a compassionate and understanding person who is resourceful, innovative and passionate about teaching.

I purposefully stay abreast of educational issues and proactively research current trends and studies as I am committed to contributing to the curriculum and am not afraid to try something new. I enjoy serving the community and am involved in several community initiatives – I am a firm believer in the idea that one needs to lead by example.

I also believe, that in order to encourage and engage learners in the process of learning, you need to be thoroughly prepared yet spontaneous, have firm

boundaries yet be flexible according to the varying needs of the learners, be fun and be serious, be intrinsically motivated and be able to motivate.

Through continuously encouraging the learners and employing a variety of teaching methods including as many senses as possible, learning takes place effectively in a secure and fun environment.

My wealth of experience has led me to fill a mentorship role for teachers and students alike. My expert advice is provided on a consultancy basis on topics such as classroom management, parent interview skills and customised programme development for learners and teachers.
